Key Colony Beach Pet Policy
We know that pets are important members of the family and many guests request information about our pet policy for our Key Colony Beach houses. We permit dogs (number depends upon the size and breed), but we cannot accommodate cats or other pets.
The city of Key Colony Beach is very pet friendly and we encourage guests to bring your pets with you to restaurants, shops and beaches whenever possible. If you plan to bring a dog who is known to bark when left alone please request pet sitting services. Neighbors will complain if a dog is left in the house and is barking continuously.
The following policies apply when you bring a dog to the property:
- There is a fee when you bring a dog. That must be paid prior to your arrival ($250)
- You are responsible for always having your dog on a leash when outside. The city of Key Colony Beach requires that all dogs be on leashes at all times.
- Your dog is not permitted to be left outside alone. An adult must be always with your dog.
- Inside, please do not permit your dog on any furnishings at any time
- If you leave your dog alone in the house, then your dog must be crated (do not close your dog in any room). If you do not have a crate, contact the owner to obtain one. There is no charge for a crate.
- If you plan to be out of the house for an extended period of time, please contact the owner who will provide pet sitter options for you.
