We began offering vacation rentals in Cape May, New Jersey in 1993. The work began as a hobby, a way of being able to our own vacation home. Our first house was a small cottage with a garage apartment (we rented out the house and stayed in the apartment over the garage, even though it swayed with every step!)
Over time we realized that we loved real estate and we loved fixing up the local properties in Cape May, at one point growing to a group of 9 properties in Cape May and nearby Wildwood.
Today we have trimmed our offerings to include just the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and 2 properties in the Florida Keys, specifically in Key Colony Beach, a wonderful village just 50 miles from Key West with amazing charm and many things to do.
We began to branch out with our vacation rental property ownership, especially when our eldest daughter began working for Marriott Vacation Club, buying our own interests and traveling to a variety of resorts in Hawaii, Florida, California and the Caribbean. Through that experience, we found and invested in Lifestyle Holidays in the Dominican Republic. There we quickly became members of the Chairman’s Circle Elite group, which guarantees our guests the best possible experience, the best accommodations, and the best service. We purchased our own villa, Royal Villa 10, which boasts many features in this 10,000 sq ft property in a luxurious resort, offering this to our guests throughout the year, in addition to a wide variety of other villas and suites. Our offerings in the Dominican Republic have grown to include every major city and tourist destination, but our favorite is the north-shore where our villa is located, in the Puerto Plata area.
We love fishing and enjoyed traveling to areas that offered a good variety of fishing adventures. That included trips to Costa Rica and Florida. We just recently purchased a home just for our use, a single home that provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy those legendary Keys sunsets, with our boat in our ‘back yard’ waterway. (stay tuned….I have a feeling we will invest in vacation rental property in this area again!) We loved it so much that we wanted to share the experience so we purchased 2 houses on the same street, each on the water with boat slips, membership in the Cabana beach and pool club, and their own Tiki Huts for morning coffee and evening cocktails with a waterfront view!
Helping people find and enjoy vacation has gone from hobby to full time ‘retirement’ work for Mary over the years, while Tedd provides help with property maintenance since retiring a few years ago. Mary sleeps with her phone, always on call for guests! Tedd is always ready to respond (though he enjoys his sleep a bit more than Mary!)

Whether it is helping with a pub crawl or winery tour in Cape May or an excursion in the Dominican Republic, we are ready to offer our experience and direction to guests, putting our guests in touch with proven vendors. We provide lots of information and help as you make your plans, going beyond the norm by giving guests information to help make the most of every minute in your vacation destination.
